This tool performs Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) analyses on selected pump configurations in the two operational states presented below. The analyses, based on details of the single-pump operation, evaluate performances in three configurations: (1) The current single-pump setup; (2) A dual-pump setup operating in series; and (3) A dual-pump setup operating in parallel.

A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) analysis will be conducted to evaluate the pump’s performance across any of the three potential configurations outlined above. The analysis will report on key performance metrics generated in the simulations—including pump efficiency and power requirements—across a range of speed variations for each configuration considered.

This VFD analysis will allow for the testing and refining of relevant design parameters, using predicted operational behavior in one of the simulated configurations to fine-tune the pump's performance within the intended system. Computed values on power requirements, flow rates, operating speeds, heads, efficiencies, plots and more, comprise the complement of post-analysis deliverables for each setup examined.
